Overview of the Qualification:

This qualification enables you to work as a Lead Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) and quality assure the work of a team of assessors. To begin this qualification you must already be a qualified assessor

Qualification Structure:

This qualification has three units:

Unit 01 – Understanding the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of assessment
This is a knowledge unit allowing you to demonstrate your understanding of the practices and principles of internal quality assurance.

Unit 02 – Internally assure the quality of assessment
This unit enables you to carry out the role of a quality assurer, planning your work and evaluating the quality of assessment and giving feedback.

Unit 03 – Plan, allocate and monitor work in own area of responsibility
This unit enables you to lead other IQAs. Allocating and agreeing responsibilities with team members in addition to monitoring progress and quality of work.
